Refund Policy

Honest Assessment stands behind the rigor of our analysis. Here is exactly how refunds work for each of our plans — clear in both directions.

Honest Assessment Report — one-time $750

If you decide before we deliver your report that you don’t want it, we issue a full refund. No friction.

After delivery, the purchase is non-refundable. You have received the analysis, benchmark comparisons, and action plan that the price pays for.

If you believe something is genuinely broken with your delivered report — data entered correctly but the analysis shows an obvious error, missing sections, the wrong benchmark applied, anything we got wrong on our side — email us and we will make it right. Typically that means a corrected report at no charge.

Monthly Advisor — $175 per month

You can cancel the Monthly Advisor plan at any time through the client portal’s Billing page. Cancellation stops billing at the end of the current billing cycle, and you retain access to the service through that period.

Monthly charges are not refunded retroactively. If you cancel three weeks into a billing cycle, you keep access for the remaining week — no partial refund. This is the standard cancel-forward model.

Annual Advisor — $1,500 per year

You can cancel the Annual Advisor plan at any time. After cancellation, you retain access through the end of the year you paid for — no prorated refund.

The annual plan is priced at a $600 discount versus paying monthly for the same access. That discount exists in exchange for the upfront commitment; prorating annual cancellations would give away the discount after the commitment was already exchanged.

Promotional Codes and Founding Members

Promotional codes and founding-member pricing follow the same rules as the standard plans. Pre-delivery refunds on the Assessment are calculated against the price actually paid, not the regular plan price.

How to Request a Refund or Report a Problem

Email hello@yourhonestassessment.com with a brief note about your situation. If your situation falls within one of the refund cases above, we process the refund within five to ten business days through Stripe back to your original payment method.

If your situation is that your delivered report has an actual problem we should fix, email us anyway with what you are seeing. We will review and make it right — typically by reissuing a corrected report at no charge.
